George was the official Texas state singer/songwriter for 2008 and is a favorite of many other artists. He is a product of the 1960’s Houston scene. He was a friend of the late Townes Van Zandt and has every bit the talent of Guy Clark. Ken Gaines is also a Houston guy and delivers songs very passionately. Coincidently, Ken will be the opening act of this year's Kerrville Folk Festival (congrats Ken!)
